Potential bugs: Toggle & Radio

Hi PA:

Before update, I can have Toggle inside gallery, and OnCheck, I can updateif easily. But after update, the OnCheck alway back to "false" (no matter how to set default and reset). It was easy before and after update it mess up whole things.
Even with a simple OnCheck = UpdateContext({Var: "Yes"}), it will also change from "true" to "false (OnUnChecl) by itself automatically.

Even Radio button is having problem, too. The first one in first gallery works, but the rest will reset to null.

I have to change to another way to accomplish my task.

(The previous missing apps can use Toggle successfuly before update).

Just wonder why.

Thanks for reading and sorry for disturbing with so many questions and might me my fault in formula.

TQ

Re: Potential bugs: Toggle & Radio

I think I know what may be causing your problem:

  • The items property of your gallery changed with the variable, which caused all records after the first one to reload

I use the Table() function in a gallery I have. I had only two records in it. The first record never needed to reload, but the second one did because their values are changed elsewhere. I ended up splitting the gallery into two different galleries with one record each to avoid the "flicker" of the table reloading. It's not a solution, but I did want to echo that it is odd how the first record is good but anything beyond it flickers.

Re: Potential bugs: Toggle & Radio

Hi @mr-dang

Thanks for sharing and suggestion.

In fact, I did not change the tabulation and gallery, but rather re-write the Apps.

I still suspect of the bugs after update and hope PA will look into it.

Anyway, I resort to use a normal button with visibility control and anyhow, I can manage the apps to suit user's needs.

Toggle or Radio are always a better presentation or more to pesonal liking.

TQ, Brian.
