Power Apps Canvas - Inserting a Button creates 2 instead of 1

So I am new to this and have been stuck on why I am having when inserting a button on a gallery or form it populates 2 buttons when I only clicked once. How do set it to only populate one, not sure where I am going wrong here?

If you are putting a Button into your Gallery, then that Button will repeat for each record in your gallery.  This is completely normal and expected.

What is it that you are trying to do and what role does the gallery play?

If you are in the first item of a gallery and add a button, it will add the button to each item in the gallery.

Hi, yes button is in gallery and its to select either create a new entry and then another one to search for an entry in view mode.

Yes...so why a gallery?  A gallery is used to display multiple records (either from a datasource, or from your own table).

What are you trying to make happen more specifically that would involve a gallery?
