Power Apps in Teams - Getting a Table Setup

Hi, all. I am trying to construct a table in Teams using the Dataverse store provided in Teams. I am starting with a very simple table construction - here are the columns desired: (1) Date (2) Customer (from a lookup table) (3) Category (from a choice selection) (4) Quantity.

My issue is that the first column in the table has "Name" as a header with no way to change the type. I'd like the first column of that table to be "Date" as a date type.

Also - I am not seeing the look up table when I select "look up" in the "Customer" column. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
