Power Automate CDS Trigger

In creating a flow in Power Automate, I want to Trigger when a record is created OR updated.  I find no such trigger, but I'm hearing that I need to use Common Data Service (current environment) - which, as it turns out, is only available in the CDS Solution.   But now... what is that?  It sounds like CDS Solution is a solution that already exists somewhere.  Or is it a regular solution that I need to create?  … then what makes it be a "CDS Solution"?  I don't see anything related to Automate or Flow in the Solution Components...

Re: Power Automate CDS Trigger

Hi @draushaus

The Common Data Service (Current Environment) trigger is only available in a Power Automate that has been created in a solution. A solution isn't specifically a CDS solution, so you create it in Power Apps, and then create the Flow in there.

Re: Power Automate CDS Trigger

Hi @draushaus ,

Common Data Service ( Current Environment ) connector is only available inside of CDS solution.

1. go to Power Automate - Solutions

2. enter the solution or create a new solution

3. in the solution, click New-Flow to create a flow

Then you are able to use Common Data Service ( Current Environment ) trigger.
