Hello everyone,
I am trying to connect the Power Bi dataset as a data source in Power Apps, do you think this is possible?
Thank you,
Juli
Hi @julilis ,
Which dataset are you trying to connect to? Is the dataset in "My Workspace"? If it is, please create an "App Workspace" and publish dataset in App Workspace and try to connect again. If still can't see, could you post some screenshots to clarify more explicitly about your issue.
The DataSets that are available to be listed through the PowerBI.ListDataSet() function is only Push type (Real-Time Streaming-REST API type) DataSet.
Check the announcement below:
Announcing General Availability of Power BI Real-Time Streaming Datasets
For the different data type, check:

For other Datasets, as the data is acutally stored in the data source side, it is recommended to connect to the data source directly wihtin PowerApps.
Regards,
Mona
Hi @v-monli-msft ,
Thank you for your answer!
I am trying to connect the workspace dataset to powerapps, but I couldn't find the dataset in the function you mentioned before.
I tried to connect PowerBi as a source, but it didn't work.
Do you have any suggestions for this problem?
Thank you,
Juli
Hello,
I also had the same problem as @julilis; I want to use PowerBI as a datasource to create a Power App.
I wonder if this is solved by now (it's been a year), or if anyone has come up with any solution,
Thanks in advance
Unfortunatelly no answers 😞
