I have a timesheet app connected to Excel where I have a Power Query to generate a project list which is then connected to a drop down in my app. When I connect the Excel sheet to PowerApps the Power Query stops updating. It's like the PowerApps connection by adding it's column means that Power Query no longer recognises it and cannot update it. Any ideas or workarounds?
Even if you write data back to your Excel workbook, it will not trigger Excel to refresh your query. This is a feature many of us have wanted for a while. You could instead do your Power Query inside a flow and write the results back to Excel each time (but I haven't tried that yet).
Regards,
Pat
