I have a power App data form bound to a SQL server table. Have foreign keys and those foreign keys should be drop-downs so converted them to [Allowed Values] lists.
But I am not able to create new records in there as getting [An entry is required or has an invalid value. Please correct and try again.] validation messages.
Following are the settings:
I think this reason here should be PowerApps is using the Primary Key to identify the row in SQL Table, so changing the Primary key value within PowerApps may not work, as PowerApps can't identify the proper row.
For a workaround, please consider to have the Primary key set to auto_increment, which is handled by the data source side, so that it can't be changed (but readable) under PowerApps.
Hey Mona, Thanks for the reply,
We already have a Primary Key which is auto incremented from database side in the main table.
Though the issue is with the foreign keys/drop-downs and getting the validations issues while trying to save the information back to the DB (Dropdowns bound with another table/s from DB, Text is visible in drop-down/s though there is something wrong with the value/pk to FK binding).
