PowerApp does not open when clicking on SharePOint list

Hi all,

I have created a PowerApp linked to a Sharepoint list. My problem is that the

"Customize forms" item does not appear and if I click on a record of the list nothing happens.

The PowerApp form does not open.

In this situation it is not possible to use the connection with Sharepoint and PowerApp.

How can I fix this problem?

thanks in advance,

Guido

Re: PowerApp does not open when clicking on SharePOint list

Hi @digioacc ,

If "Customize forms" tab does not appear in your SharePoint list site, then your SP might be in classic mode. Currently the PowerApps Custom Form in SharePoint will only work if the modern experience is enabled. Please go ahead and check if this is the issue.

Re: PowerApp does not open when clicking on SharePOint list

Hi @digioacc

Have you created a standalone PowerApp connected to SP list

If yes then it will not trigger within context of SP List

PowerApps Customized forms will only trigger within context of SP list

If you have created it then

Go to list settings > form settings > and check what default option is set for the list
