PowerApp drawing over existing image

Hi All

This is my first post so thanks everyone for taking the time to read and respond.

I have a project where the user wants to bring up an map based on their curerent location, but then draw the location of some assets over the top and save the map and drawing as a single image.

through the templates I have found a number of tools to load and save a map image. And have looks into the peninput tool which will allow me to draw over the top, but if I save it saves the map and drawing separately.

any ideas welcome.

Cheers

Devon

Re: PowerApp drawing over existing image

Hi DevonC,

What’s the data source you are using? What functions are you using to save the image and pen input text?

I assume that saving the map image and drawing separately might be a default behavior, as an image control and pen input control will be recognized as different records when saving them to data source.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao
