PowerApps Attachment

Greetings,

I have a powerapps app that is connected to sharepoint list which works with outlook365 contacts and sending mails to chosen contacts.

I have 8 media image files on form and their image source is powerapps media itself. I'm trying to make image that is chosen by the user to be sent as attachment in email. They can be chosen multiple either one only so I dont mind using a checkbox or a radio button for that.

Please help me with this I cant make them chosen or sent!

Re: PowerApps Attachment

Hi @whatsit,

You said that "I have 8 media image files on form", I think you mean Gallery control instead, right? Also, how did you add the image to media in PowerApps?

Here are my steps to achieve this:

1. Insert an "Add picture" control to add images to PowerApps:

Capture.PNG

2. Add a button controls, set below formula:

Button1.OnSelect=UpdateContext({counter:counter+1});Collect(C,{Name:"pic" & counter & ".jpg",ContentBytes:UploadedImage1.Image,'@data.type':""})

3. Add a Gallery control, insert a checkbox control to the template part. Set its Items property to

C

Layout to "Image and title", select the fields like below screenshot.

Set the OnCheck property of checkbox control to:

Collect(C2,ThisItem)

4. Add the 2nd button, set to:

Button2.OnSelect=Office365.SendEmail("xxx@xxx.com", "xxx", "xxx", {Attachments:C2})

I tested and this works for me:
