Just as an update... Previous versions of my same application are no longer working.  I was testing this morning and now in the afternoon I am no longer able to open my application in the editor.

Hi Jason,

Is this happening to all of your apps in your PowerApps? Both web and studio? Also, I noticed that you only mentioned that you cannot edit app, but can you open the app correctly? Did you sign in successfully?

Regards,

Mona

Mona,

Thank you for reaching out to me.  To answer your question, no I have another PowerApp that I've developed that I'm still able to edit in the web and Windows version of the editor after the update to version 2.0.630.  Both the app that is working and the app that isn't working use a Sharepoint data source.  The app that is working was created from scratch.  The app that isn't working began as the "Site Inspection" template.  It is odd that I'm able to run the application on my IPhone and run the application on my computer (unable to edit, but can run).  One thing I did notice is that on my Iphone, but not the computer my toggle controls that I use to control the visibility of other fields seem to lock up the interface when their state is changed.  Toggle controls that do not update the visability of other fields have no issues when toggled.  I did set the OnUpdate and OnChange properities of some toggle controls to change the visability of other Cards and did not get around to removing that.  I believe the proper way is to have the card referance the toggle control to change it's visability.  Another possible issue with the app that is working is that I left in screen intefaces for taking photos using the camera control and adding images to an audit even though Sharepoint does not yet allow images to be saved to it.  All this was working until the update to version 2.0.630.  Here is some information about my application.  I have saved about 200 version of the same application so I don't lose my work as I go.  I know that each file has a version history you can restore from, but I didn't want to risk anything.  My app Id of the latest version is 8f767512-fca4-c874-63bb-ab48f30e7be0 and my application is using SharePoint as it's datasource.  I have signed in and out of PowerApps several times to see if it was a temporary issue and it is not.  I would be happy to provide more information if it would help you all debug the issue.  I've noticed that @AndyPennell is aware of this issue after looking at https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/Help-Unable-to-Edit-App/m-p/34160#M14062.  I am hopeful that you all are able to figure out a solution.  Perhaps there would be a way for us to edit our apps using an older version of the editor to get back to a good state?

Thank you for reaching out,

Jason

Chiming in on this thread also, we're seeing the same issues and error mesasge. Authoring fails in web and Studio apps, app itself exhibiting faulty behavior. None of this was predicated with any changes to the app itself, so appears to have been introduced by the platform itself.

PowerApps is predicated on the platform providing a stable runtime. If this kind of major break can happen by surprise, it will be a significant deterrent to production use.

This is a known issue and will be fixed in the 640 release.

Thanks Andy. Any possibility of providing timing on the release?
