PowerApps ComboBox with always one Selection

Heyy Everyone,

                        Great to be back !!

I would like to know if there is anyway I can have atleast one value selected in ComboBox. I have set single select for this combobox. Please let me know if there is any way to achieve this. I know this can acheived through dropdown but I prefered combobox which makes searching easy as I have more than 250 values for that column.

Thanks in Advance

You can't specifically force the combobox to do that, but you can implement formulas that will provide a default (as mentioned) and then consider disabling any submit buttons unless a choice is made (i.e. user clears the choice).  Perhaps also making an error message visible if there is no selection.

Yes, you can set the DefaultSelectedItems to be the Item that you want selected.

Keep in mind that the Item you use on that property must match the Item types you have for the Items for the control.

I hope that helps you.

Re: PowerApps ComboBox with always one Selection

@RandyHayes Thanks for the info. I can do that but user have option to remove that . I need to be able to disable that cross icon so I can force user to keep default or select another one. What I am trying to acheive is that there should always be one selection in combobox.
