PowerApps Plan 2 required?

Powerapps community,

Our company is a Office 365 Enterprise E3 environment running Powerapps with 3 connectors: "Office 365 Outlook", "OneDrive for Business", and "PowerApps Notifications".  All of the data is stored within Excel files on "OneDrive for Business", and we don't use CDS or Flows.

Can someone confirm that a "PowerApps Plan 2" plan is required for the two users who are sending notifications using the "PowerApps Notifications" connection, and is not required for the 8 users merely receiving the notifications?

Thanks,

BrewinBruin

Hi @BrewinBruin,

I agree with @PeteMc's thought almost.

If the user wants to send an push notification using PowerApps Notification connector (which is a premium connector) within his/her app, he/she should purchase PowerApps Plan 2 license for his PowerApps at least.

The users who meerly receiving the notification don't need to purchase PowerApps Plan 2 license for their PowerApps.

Please also check and see if the following blog would help in your scenario:

Based on the feedback given by a user here a Plan 2 is only requried to Send, all powerapps users can recieve regardless of plan.
