PowerApps Shoutout Help

Hi

I'm trying to design the Shoutout app for my organization but when initially trialing it by sending a shoutout to a colleague it only send me an email showing what I supposedly sent him.

Can anyone help get me started with this?

Hi @vdoering ,

Could you tell me your formula of send email button?

The syntax of sending email should be like:

Office365.SendEmail(inputTo.Text, inputSubject.Text, inputBody.Text)

So who the email is sent to is decided by the "inputTo.Text" in the formula.

I've created a shoutout app too.

Maybe the formula that used is this:  (SendConfirmationScreen's OnVisible)

  If(IsBlank(UploadedImage1.Image),
        Office365.SendEmailV2(_myProfile.UserPrincipalName, "Shoutout!", LookUp(Templates, Template="Email").Value, {Importance: "Normal"}),
        Office365.SendEmailV2(_myProfile.UserPrincipalName, "Shoutout!", LookUp(Templates, Template="Email").Value, ....)
)

If you want to send this email to your colleague  too, you could modify like this:

  If(IsBlank(UploadedImage1.Image),
        Office365.SendEmailV2(Concatenate(_myProfile.Mail,";",yourcolleague's maill adress), "Shoutout!", LookUp(Templates, Template="Email").Value, {Importance: "Normal"}),
        Office365.SendEmailV2(Concatenate(_myProfile.Mail,";",yourcolleague's maill adress), "Shoutout!", LookUp(Templates, Template="Email").Value, ....)
)

 Using ";" to connect multiple email addresses could send email to multiple people.

I didn't create of use a formula, I just used the template shown under canvas apps.
