PowerApps Update 3.19052.19 Causing Issues

Has anybody been experiencing issues since the PowerApps update 3.19052.19? I have an app that has been in production since March but some critical pieces of it broke over the weekend.

  1. Context Variables being sent through the Navigation function are partially working. Work around I did was use a Global Variable via the Set Function
  2. I had Gallery Controls with dynamic height based on "Row Count of Items * TemplateHeight" but would not generate the correct height. Work around I did was to hard code the TemplateHeight value instead of referencing the property value.

@itsmeqp

You might want to look through this posting about 3.19052.19

The current version is 3.19052.20 which presumably fixed those issues.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Hi @itsmeqp ,

1. What is the formula that you use? Where did you encounter the issue? On mobile or web?

2. Also, please share the formula that does not work.

Regards,

Mona

Re: PowerApps Update 3.19052.19 Causing Issues

    • The Navigate function.  NavigateScreen [, Transition [, UpdateContextRecord ] ] )
    • Web, not tested on mobile (but that has been seperate problems)
  1. Snippet,

    Navigate(S_SAR, ScreenTransition.Fade, {
    custAccountManager: custAccountManager,
    contID: ThisItem.ID
    })

The Navigate function is executed by selecting an item in a Gallery Control. With the UpdateContextRecord parameter, the value is suppose to pass through to the S_SAR screen, but it does not. This has been working fine until update 3.19052.19. I am still having issues in the latest version. My workaround is using a Global Variable which is not ideal.

The TemplateHeight reference appears to be functioning again with 3.19052.20 but it did cause a great amount of grief when it wasn't working.
