PowerApps and SharePoint Online Integration

Hello PowerApps Community!

I would absolutely love to utilize the Leave Request template into my own organization. However, I'm completely new to PowerApps and just navigating Edit mode seems extremely tricky. Are there any tutorials on how to customize this template to my own preferences?

For instance, the collection schema has been very confusing to me. I can't seem to figure out how to add and edit items in the collection. Also, I'd like to know if you can possibly integrate the PowerApp into SharePoint Online. If I currently have a SharePoint site (intranet), could I post a completed PowerApp into the SP site? It seems like this PowerApp would be a lot better than having a simple Microsoft Flow and SharePoint list.

Thanks!!

Hi @akim91

Welcome to the PowerApps community 🙂

Since you are new to PowerApps, I would suggest you to learn from our expert's videos :

@Shanescows : Youtube channel

@mr-dang : Youtube channel

@Audrie-MSFT : Youtube channel

It will provide you some very good explanations on how to do your first steps into the PowerApps Studio and understand pretty easily all the basis you need.

About the SharePoint integration, on Modern pages you have a PowerApps webpart. You can bring into your page, your app and it is very well seamlessly integrated.

Hi Theo,

Thank you for your response. I was wondering if you might have an idea why my SharePoint Online doesn't have the PowerApps web part? From what I can tell, my current plan includes PowerApps. Would the O365 administrator need to enable it?

Thanks
