Little more info would be helpful.
Have you:
Have you worked with SharePoint hosted Apps before?
I can edit and add items on the list but when I type SITE URL into the new connection, it does not show the List, if I manually type the list name it fails.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding. I work with PowerApps connected to tables that are hosted on Sharepoint. Is that what you mean by "Sharepoint-hosted-app".
If you're talking about a Sharepoint embedded PowerApp (one that actually sits on a Sharepoint page), I have only limited experience and probably can't help.
Can you please provide some more details?
How did you try to connect your list and are there limitations or access rights set to the list?
Hm. I've been using PowerApps and Sharepoint together for ~3months and I've never heard of a "Sharepoint hosted Sharepoint Add-in".
Wonder what the benefit is to this vs. just connecting your PowerApp to a Sharepoint Custom List or Embedding one into your Sharepoint page.
Anywho, you might want to just doublecheck that you are NOT trying to type in the whole URL path to the list. Just type the SITE name, click Connect, then choose the lists.
Example: https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/
Good luck!
Hi @Anonymous,
Did you mean SharePoint-hosted SharePoint Add-ins in this documentation?
It seems that lists contained in SharePoint hosted add-ins are not supported in PowerApps so far. You can submit an idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.
