PowerApps customized SharePoint form issue

Hi all,

 

I would like to use PowerApp customized forms in SharePoint list and I am facing following issue: after the customization all new items created in the list pop up as items created on behalf of Connection account. Is there a chance to get real Created By/Modified By accounts insted of showing the connection account?

RezaDorrani, thanks for prompt reply!

 

I just tried to remove the service account from the data sources in PowerApps and this helped, all new items were crested by showing righ creators, I think the service account assigned in the data sources caused that issue. Anyway it looks good now. Thank you!

PowerApps always works in the conext of the logged in user

It does not run under context of any other account

So created by and modified by will be the person using the PowerApp and entering data

I know this is a bit old.  But what you do you mean "remove service account".  I have this exact same issue and its not clear what you did here to resolve the issue.
