PowerApps in Teams - Make a duplicate within Teams environment - Issue

I want to make multiple duplicates of powerapp within a Teams environment.

As there is no 'Save as' functionality in Teams PowerApps like in PowerApps, I do the following:

1. Export the PowerApp - A

2. Import the PowerApp - A.

However, this overwrites the existing PowerApp -A and doesnot create a copy even if I rename them prior to importing.

Idea is to save the imported PowerApp as PowerApp - B and change data sources for deployment in a different Teams channel.

To be clear, this works if I import the file to a different Teams. I want the duplicate in the same Teams environment.

Please help!

Hi @ClipperSun ,

Please try to select all the controls of the original app and use Ctrl+C.

Use ctrl+v on the screen of the new app.

Best Regards,

Wearsky

This doesnot not work. I cannot open two apps in edit within teams environment. Also, items dont copy to clipboard when I try to paste it after opening the new app.

I can easily import the app into a new Teams environment, however, my use case is to create multiple apps connected to specific SP lists to be deployed in different channels of the same Team environment with access controlled with permissions.
