PowerApps limitation (Column and Rows)

Hello Guys, I have an sharepoint lists with more than 10k of rows, and it has 127 columns.

I tried to load it on PA but got an error saying that the limit of columns was exceed.

Do you guys know a way I can load it on PA or today, it is not possible yet?

Re: PowerApps limitation (Column and Rows)

There is a experimental feature in powerapps setting page.

Increase the value according to your requirement.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Hi @Pat_Wickramage

Curious: Have you tried this setting with Sharepoint lists > 2000 rows? I was under the understanding this was the max limit. Interested to know if you've used it for lists larger than than.

Take care

I have tried it in Excel DBs placed in OneDrive for business & it works.

So give it a try.

@Pat_Wickramage Cool. I'll have to give it a try.

@Anonymous, you should look into "the Delegation Issue" for Sharepoint lists > 2000 rows just to be familiar. You won't be able to use some Functions on that list.

Re: PowerApps limitation (Column and Rows)

I tried but did not work 😞

I still got the limit error, I set to 2000 the value, but the gallery shows an error, when the error not appear, the gallery just stays blank :c

Maybe some Patch or Collection functions can reduce the amount of rows?

Re: PowerApps limitation (Column and Rows)

Sounds like a COLUMN limit rather than ROWS. I haven’t run into that before. Maybe consider breaking the 127 into sub-tables then reference back to original table to reduce?

Re: PowerApps limitation (Column and Rows)

I liked the idea....But, how do I do the reference using SP lists?

If I could know the columns limit of a SP lists in PA would help...
