Re: PowerApps save and submit buttons

Hi @Anonymous ,

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you don't have any data connection configured, what would you be saving or submitting data to? Are you trying to collect data on your screen then write it to a file?

Re: PowerApps save and submit buttons

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to collect data from the form in your app, and then save the collected data into a file?

If you want to collect data from the form in your app, and then save the collected data into a file, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

As an alternative solution, I think the combination of PowerApps and Microsoft Flow could achieve your needs. On your side, within your app, you could consider collect data from the form, and concatenate it into a HTML text string. Then pass the concatenated HTML text string to a flow (fire a flow from your app), within the flow, create a HTML file based on the passed HTML text string. Then convert the HTML file into a PDF file.

Please check and see if the following videos and blogs would help in your scenario:

More details about firing a flow from an app, please check and see if the following video would help in your scenario:

Please take a try with the solution mentioned in above video and blog, then check if the issue is solved.

@v-xida-msft  I am struggling with your alternative solution. Is there any other way to solve the problem? Or only option that I need data from sharepoint?
