PowerApps source code

Hello there,

I was wondering if it would be possible to see the source code of PowerApps to see more how it works and if it can be possible to add new functions by ourselfs.

I also wanted to know (if it is possible) what language is used to code PowerApps and the common data service, i wanted to know how it interact with the entities and what requests are mades and also what are the limits of the requests.

thanks for your attention, and have a good programming day !

Re: PowerApps source code

PowerApps apps are JavaScript apps. You can see the code by pressing F12 in any browser. (Note: the generated code is not designed to be nice to read, or user editable).

You cannot directly add new functions (or controls) to PowerApps.

To see what is going on with connectors such as CDS, use Fiddler or a similar tool to watch the REST calls.
