PowerApps to Flow Date Format problem

I'm using a combination of PowerApps, SharepointOnline and Flow to send out e-mail alerts.

So I have the dates in a Sharepoint list and want to use them in Flow to send out my e-mail

I'm using the "Compose" action to format the date i.e. "@formatDateTime(,'dd-MM-yyyy')" complete with the double quotes on the outside (I also tried "@formatdatetime( ,'yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ss')" ), but this is generating an error message. See screen shot below. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: PowerApps to Flow Date Format problem

After much searching and testing, I finally managed to format a date (in Date only format) retrieved from a Sharepoint List, to 'dd-MM-yyyy'

formatdatetime(items('Apply_to_each')?['IsDueDate'] ,'dd-MM-yyyy')

Thanks to several posts I found here in the Community
