PowerBI tile in PowerApps -column names with spaces not filtering

Hi all

After read all the post about this subject, still have a problem to filter PowerBI tile

In tile properties, the url was modified to support spaces:

TileUrl: " ...fQ%3d%3d&$filter=Volumen_x0020_Historico/Marca eq 'MIRASOL'"

  • Table Name: [Volumen Historico]
  • Column Name: [Marca]
  • Type: String

The resulting tile was not affected by the filter.

After a bunch of tests, I've realized that if I use a table name and a column name without spaces, the filtering occurs as expected.

  • What should I change in this expression:

&$filter=Volumen_x0020_Historico/Marca eq 'MIRASOL'

  • Is there any way to debug/understand the error associated with this issue?

Re: PowerBI tile in PowerApps -column names with spaces not filtering

Hi @Bubbler ,

That's a little strange...

Your formula seems to be correct.

Please make sure that you have represented every spaces by using "_x0020_".

What's more, Table and Field names are case-sensitive, value isn't.

Please check your formula about case-sensitive.

Here are some common special characters in URL filters:

Identifier Unicode Coding for Power BI
Table Name Space is 0x20 Table_x0020_Name
Column@Number @ is 0x40 Column_x0040_Number
[Column] [ is 0x0058 ] is 0x0050 x0058_Column_x0050
Column+Plus + is 0x2B Column_x002B_Plus

Please modify your formula based on this.

Here's a doc about this in details for your reference:

What's more, you could change other browsers to test it. I found that someone met this problem because of browser's cache. So you could try to clean your browser's cache to solve this.

Here's the issue:

Strange things, yes

I've cleaned cache, close and reopen, change browser... same issue.  Even at the phone using the powerapps app

Attached you will find PowerBI model definition and values.

Any other clues? Region or language reported issues?
