Powerapp & Business Central and Office 365 user issue.

Hello all,

Please give your feedback, I have a following scenario:

  1. I have a Business Central Super Admin user and got his Web Service Key.
  2. Created a Custom Connection in PowerApp
  3. I am able to access data and insert/update through App.
  4. I shared that the app with another Office 35 user.
  5. When Office 365 user access app that BC does not return data.

Error comes of  authentication. My question is though Web Access Key is of Super User. The app is connecting through that web access key and I am playing with response JSON in App. then why office 365 user cannot access data.

As my understanding, API or oDATA access means we can play out of BC with our ways, even in any application in php/.net/c# then why Powerapp is not let to get data.

Please clear my doubts.

Regards,

Hi,

Looking at this, I cannot think of a reason why this should not be working. It seems like as long as the authentication is set up correctly it should work just fine. I would recommend to open a ticket with Microsoft Support on this. I will include a link below; on how to do so. If any other communities members might know feel free to chime in.

If you would like to create a ticket with Microsoft Customer Support here is a link on how to do so: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/get-help-support
