Hello everyone,
I have a sharepoint custom list, and I'd made an editform in powerapps. If I'm working on the list and edit an item or make a new item everything works great. Sidecar pops up they enter data and go.
The page the users reference is a web part page with multiple parts and when they click on new item it takes them to another page with the power app form.
The main issue is the scaling isn't right when it opens on a new page, so there are two vertical scroll bars making navigation a little awkward.
Ideally I'd like to enable that side car on a web part page.
Thank you,
Hi @Anonymous ,
Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?
Do you embed your custom form into a Web page (e.g. a SP Site Page) using Web Part plugin?
Further, do you want the embedded app to be opened on sidecar?
I have made a test on my side, if you want the embedded app to be opened on sidecar, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.
If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Hello Kris,
I have a web part page with a couple charts, and it has a list web part. If I click new item from the list web part it nagivates to the newitem page. The new item page was customized in powerapps and the length is formatted for that sidecar. So you end up with a vertical side bar for the app and a slide bar for the page.
If I open the list by itself, not on the web part page and click new item, the new item comes up on the sidecar with just one vertical scroll bar.
What I'd really like is from the web part page if you click new item it opens on the side car andnot navigating to the newitem page.
Picture below I hope that helps
