I have a PowerApp that is connected to Excel Online as it's data source. I have a gallery that is populated from a column in a table. If there is no sort applied to the table data then the interface updates fine when a change happens to the data. However if I apply a sort to the gallery data then no updates are made to the interface when the data changes.
On the iOS app even closing the app and reopening doesn't let the data refresh. Anyone know what is going on here?
Kind Regards
Jon
Why not just sort the data in the interface instead of on your backend? you could use SortbyColumns() in powerapps and get what you need. you could even setup a similar sort system with buttons if it needs to behave like excel.
Apologies, perhaps my original post didn't make it clear. I am sorting in the interface and that is where the behaviour is being exhibited.
Many thanks
Jon
