Powerapps - Trusted Devices

Hi,

I've created a Powerapp that connects to our on-premise SQL servers using a gateway and all seems to be working very well, my target before deploying is to make sure that certain employees can only install/run an app on a 'trusted device' in our case mobile phones or tablets given to them by the company.

i.e. we don't want employees to be able to logon to Powerapps from other unsecured devices and be able to run the application.

IP restrictions would not work as they need to access the data remotely using 4G

Is that possible ? and what are our options ?

BR,

Rami

Hi,

My thought on this is to use a table of all your approved devices, then get all the approved MAC addresses of the devices.

Now the issues is that I have looked around to see if there is a way to get the MAC address on Launch, but will continue to look.

I think this is really the only reliable way to approve devices in my view..

If I come up with something more will update it here, if you want to contact me directly jay@research-nest.com feel free to send an email
