Powerapps linked with sharepoint list and multiple values

Hi,

I have a Sharepoint list linked with Powerapps. In that sharepoint list I used the "person or group"  option and checked the multiple selection option. As soon as I have checked that option Powerapps does not display anything. If I uncheck it and only use one name it works without a problem.

The same problem is with other column options in sharepoint. As soon as "multiple selections" is checked Powerapps only shows the red X error information.

Is it even possible to display multiple names/selection fields from one column in powerapps? I spend so much time looking for an answer online but could not find anything. Hopefully my searching skills are just subpar and there are actually good solutions.

I hope someone has an answer and can help.

Thank you

I found a solution with your concat function. I thought I already did it like that before but it didnt work then. Now it works.

The function I use is:

Concat(ThisItem.'columnname';DisplayName;", ")

With this function it shows all entries in that column field.

Hi, yes it is possible, the code will need adjusting in powerapps to allow the datacard to allow multi selecting. this will automatically show multiple people when they are selected ;

You can also view selected people within textinputs and labels using the Concat() function, for example. label1.text = Concat(DataCardValue1.SelectedItems,DisplayName,", ")

When I add a combo box I change it to view as I only want it to display the names from the sharepoint list.

In the combobos source view I have 3 options of data card values. DatacardValue1, DataCardValue11 and DatacardValue12. In all three I choose DisplayName and link it with the sharepoint list. But it seems to have problems with the column. Sometimes I can add and accept the column but when I open it again it is removed. Sometimes it is in a loading loop and I can't even click on accept. In the Items category is some kind of error information. Unfortunately it is in german so I dont know how helpful that picture is as some characters in the syntax are different to the english version.

Also multiple selection is on.

you cant use = in this case because = doesn't work with multi select you would have to use the 'in ' function. have a look at the below article which explains it well
