Powerapps - sharepoint libray 'document' - restrict permissions to single connection instead to share necessary users

Hello All,

Am new to power apps, I have a list called accounts and contribute access to all the required users for submitting requests from power apps. also I have one excel document in Document library to do some calculations in my power apps.

But here my question is for that document no one should have access? how do I restrict not even read permissions and I have to calculate the calculations by getting that excel document data into the power apps based on login users info?

Main concern do I need to grant at least read permissions to that document to fetch the data or is there any other way?

Thanks,

Sanvi

Hi @Saan ,

You are correct in that all users need at least Read permissions on any data source that requires information to be extracted. You can obviously restrict what they can see in Power Apps based on the user.
