Pre-Pupulate fields based on a search...

I have an Excel backend at the moment and I have a "New Appointment" page like this :-

So could I have a search box or dropdown box that is seachable and whichever one I pick it will autocomplete the document for me IE Name Address Tel that sort of thing of course if it doesn't exist then I can fill them in myself?

Any help again most welcome 🙂

Hello James,

I see that if you would like for this to prepopulate, you'll need a gallery which when selected, you can use Gallery1.Selected.FirstName to populate the first name text box.

If showing client's names are not ideal on the left side of the page, you can always create a gallery which when selected to collect that client's information into a collection and then clicking an edit button goes into the client edit page where you can extract the client's information accordingly from the collection.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

What I need is a way to access the data that is already been created from the form and auto complete.  For instance if the details for one person has been created and I cant to create another form I would simply need to type in the persons name and it would auto complete the name address tel and what ever info is in the records.

If thats possible how do a create the search field to look back into the excel fields and if find one line with the name in it then pull the rest of the information into the rest of the fields?

Kind Regards

Just been speaking to Microsoft about this and I've been told it's not possible to have fields autopupulate the way I want too 😞 oh well wish list here it comes!
