Problème de licence / licencing issue

Bonjour,

Merci

Hello,
I originally developed a powerapps canvas (plan 1) application using only the sharepoint lists as data source and flow for notification. Plan 1 users could access it without any problem. I subsequently made a copy (export + import under a new project) of this application, trying to migrate the data sources to CDS (requiring Plan 2). Since then, I notice after a while that the access to the original still in plan 1 requires Plan 2 licenses for its use, whereas before I could use it just with the license Plan 1. Can I have a support? It is a project in production.

Thanks

Re: Problème de licence / licencing issue

Hi @edsen ,

Currently, within PowerApps, the CDS connector (Common Data Service) is a Premium connector. If you want to access CDS in PowerApps, you must own PowerApps Plan 1 (old license) or PowerApps Per App plan (new license) at least.

Since October 1, 2019, there are some updates with PowerApps license, please check the following article for more details:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/powerapps-flow-licensing-faq

Please check if the PowerApps Plan 1 license for your end users has been expired. Also please check if you have add some other features which are restricted to PowerApps Plan 2 within your canvas app.

If the issue still exists, please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:

Re: Problème de licence / licencing issue

Hello @v-xida-msft ,
I thank you for your reply. However as I explained the problem also arises on the original application developed just with plan 1 (no use of CDS). I actually made a copy of the original project (export + re-import under a new name) to allow users to continue to simply use their Plan 1 licenses while allowing me to do the migration tests on the copy, data to CDS. So what you say should just apply to the copy and there I would understand. What I do not understand is that there currently it applies as much to the copy as to the original. End users continue to access other apps developed just as well with Plan 1 right now. They have the PowerApps license for office 365 (the equivalent of plan 1) thanks to the Microsoft 365 Business essential package activated for them.
