Problem with Azure Table Storage (Not authorized)

Hi all!

I was playing around with PowerApps and I wanted to use Azure Table Storage as the data source. I added ATS to the connections list and everything seemed to be ok (no errors) and then I added ATS to the data sources.

I made a button that should create a new table to the ATS, but I get these following errors:

- AzureTableStorage.CreateTable failed: This app is not authorized to access this service. Try reopening the app and ensure all connections have been resolved". (This message appers in the Studio website)

- AzureTableStorage.CreateTable failed: { "odata.error": {"code": "InvalidResourceName", "message": { "lang": "en-US", "value":"The specified resource name contains invalid characters.\nRequestId:2b4ec5ed-0002-0042-3ed6-716ffd000000\n..............................." (This message appers in the PowerApps Win 10 app when I try to run the app I made)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Re: Problem with Azure Table Storage (Not authorized)

Could you please share more details about the error message within your app?

Based on the error message that you provided, it seems to tell that the connection you create from your app to the Azure Table Storage connector is invalid.

Please take a try to re-open your app, and then re-create a new connection to the Azure Table Storage connector, check if the issue is solved.

Please also check if you have provided proper account name and storage key for creating a connection to your Azure Table Storage connector.

More details about creating a connection to Azure Table Storage connector, please check the following article:

Re: Problem with Azure Table Storage (Not authorized)

Hi @v-xida-msft

When I create the connection to the ATS, it accepts my Storage Account name and key. If the name or key isn't right, it won't create the connection. I have tested it several times. I tried to create a new SA, but same thing.

If I choose blob containers instead of tables, the connection works. Same name, same key. I can make an app to list all the containers and upload files to them. I can work with blob containers but not with tables.

If I make an really simple app: Connection to the ATS. One button and the OnSelect property is set to AzureTableStorage.DeleteTable("Test"). Should work, right?
