Problem with actions inside Edit form

Hi,

I'm having some problems with actions inside the Edit form. I've created an app that has a label that shows the text saved in a variable. Then there is a checkbox that updates context with the text "checked" if the checkbox is checked and with "unchecked" if the checkbox is unchecked. This works with no problems.

But, if I add an edit form and inside of the card I add the same checkbox which does the same actions. Nothing happens.

(The same problem occurs also in different components - for instance: Combobox and OnChange action)

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Label1:

Text: varTest

Checkbox 1 (outside form):

OnCheck: UpdateContext({varTest: "checked"});
OnUncheck: UpdateContext({varTest: "unchecked"});

Checkbox 2 (inside edit form card):

OnCheck: UpdateContext({varTest: "checked"});
OnUncheck: UpdateContext({varTest: "unchecked"});

I've heard this twice today...sounds like something changed.

However, the use of variables on actions really gets messy anyway.  You can really get rid of the variable and the actions and just set the Label Text to:  If(Checkbox2.Value, "Checked", "Unchecked")

Beyond that, I would try to go back to a prior version and see if that functionality worked before.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Thank you for your answer. This example was made just to illustrate the problem that I have in a different application, but thanks for the advice anyway.

Well then it seems like something has really changed ... let's hope that they fix the bug as soon as possible.

BR,
Luc

Yeah, seems like there are always issues with certain things in forms.  Either they are trying to fix something - and failed, or something else has gone wrong with their latest build.

Fingers crossed for fixes!!
