Problem writing to a SQL table from a PowerApp - Read Only Message

Hi!

I've created a few PowerApps that use SQL connections successfully, reading and writing data. On this new PowerApp I'm creating, connected to the same database but using different tables, I'm getting an error when using the Collect / Patch and similar functions. The error message is "Data origin is read only, Collect function can't write to it".

If I select some older tables it works just fine, but any newly created tables has this same issue.

I've tried creating the connection again, creating new tables, I'm using a super user with full read-write access.

I don't know what else to check, is there a chance some new permission is being set up that I don't know?

The PowerApp can read the data from these tables, the issue is to write to them for some read-only error, so the connection works just fine.

Hope someone can have some ideas.

Thanks!

Hi @Slopez ,

Is there the PrimaryKey in your SQL Table ?

Could you please check that? You need to set one PK  in your tables if you test.

Best Regards.

It’s always the little things! I can’t believe I missed that.

Thank you!
