I have a powerapp that is basically a gallery that shows data loaded from a sharepoint list, and a dropdown control that filters the results.
When I am in edit mode, the app works good and the data is displayed perfectly.
However, once the application is published, if I run the app in the browser (it is in the cloud), the gallery will show up empty.
I have read many tutorials about sharing apps, but I have not found a solution yet.
Please, can anyone help?
According to your description, I create an app based on SharePoint list on PowerApps studio for Windows, and use a Dropdown control to filter the items on the gallery.
Then I save the app and publish it. When I open the app on Web studio, I can still check all the data on the gallery.
Have you shared the app to shared users, however, shared users are not able to check the data on the gallery when they open the app on their side?
Please make sure you not only shared the app, but also the data source.
About sharing app resources, please check this doc for a reference:

Thanks for your response.
I just published the app, and opened it through the web link.
In that situation the gallery is empty, despite I am the same user editing and using the app.
If I go back to editing, the data is there again.
This sharepoint list is located in a corporative server inside the company.
The permissions for sharepoint list access should not be a problem there, am I right?
I am still struggling and have not been able to get the gallery loaded.
Sometimes, when I enter the edit mode, the gallery also starts empty and I have to refresh the sharepoint connection.
But after that, everything works ok while editing. In the published app, there is no way to make it work.
I really don't know how to debug it.
Please, could you lend me a hand?
Please check this documentation for a reference:
Please check the part “Empty gallery when opening an app”, it says that “If you generate an app automatically from data, save the app, and then reopen it, the browse gallery might not immediately show any data. To resolve this issue, type at least one character in the search box, and then delete the text that you typed. The gallery will then show data as expected.”
Please try it on your side.
I did not create the app automatically, so I don't have a search box.
I created the app from scratch and added the sharepoint connection manually.
I tried reloading the application, deleting and creating again the connection and changing the combobox selection which determines the variable that sets the filter for the gallery, and the gallery is still empty.
Any other ideas?
