Hi,
This might seem like a dumb question, but I can't seem to make something work the way I want and it should be simple. I have a form and on this form I want to draw a box around a certain few inputs. That's it, just a box around them. Unless I'm missing something, the only thing I can find is a rectangle with fill opacity of 0. But this still covers up my inputs, even though you can't see the fill. If I send it to the back, it gets covered by the fill on my form.
Isn't there an ability to just draw a line? Or in my case, 4 lines?

The problem is that there is more than 1 data card for me to highlight.
That did it! It's bananas that I have to go to those lengths, but it worked so I'm happy, thank you!
Just add a rectangle shape and then on the menu bar on home tab with rectangle selected go to reorder and send it to back

Yeah that was the first thing that I tried. However, my form has a fill to it. So when I send the rectangle to the back, it ends up behind the form and can't be seen. I need the rectangle to be ABOVE the form, but BELOW the data cards it will surround. If it was just one data card, then I could insert it there, but the whole point is to highlight a group of cards.
You can put a boarder on the data cards. Also there isnt a line tool, it's just the rectangle tool with a width/height of 1 depending on if you need it horizontal or vertical.
As you've probably worked out, there unfortunately isn't a line control that we can use.
The best approach, as @yshariff mentions, is to add 4 rectangles, and to line them up to form a single rectangle.
Here's an example I made, which spans 2 cards on a form.
