Put check in place in formula to make sure data is present?

Hi All,

I have the following button with the following forumla running off the onselect and wondered if there a way to stop the data being sent to all the share point list if 'Main Form' is showing an error due to missing data?

As currently if someone has forgot to put the date details in the button sends data to all other lists apart from 'Main Form' due to missing data

SubmitForm('Main Form');
SubmitForm('Hazard form');
SubmitForm('Cost form');
SubmitForm('5s Form');
SubmitForm('SWC Form');
SubmitForm('Downtime form');
SubmitForm('Quality form');
ResetForm('Main Form Blue AJ200P');
ResetForm('Hazard form');
ResetForm('Cost form');
ResetForm('5s Form');
ResetForm('SWC Form');
ResetForm('Downtime form');
ResetForm('Quality form')

Hope that makes sense?

Regards

P

Re: Put check in place in formula to make sure data is present?

You can use OnSuccess/OnFailure properties of your 'Main Form'. Refer to SubmitForm documentation. So you probably want the button to only call the submitform of the main form, and then in the 'OnSuccess' you can do the subsequent SubmitForm calls.

Re: Put check in place in formula to make sure data is present?

Hi @MrNappa,

Would this keep the ID numbers of all the SP lists then the same (as long as they are in sync), as currently if all SP lists are on number ID 99 and the user forgets to put date in the "main form" stays on 99 and the rest go up by one.

If all the fields or some of them are required then, Click the datacard/ Datacards and Mark as required.

Another option is to take each datacardvalue example
If(IsBlank(datacardvalue.Text),Notify("Fill all Data",SumitForm(A);SumitForm(B))
