Question on using button to launch an email

Hello! I am trying to have a button launch an email OnSelect. It does work! I just cannot figure out how to make the "Subject" one of the answers they've just submitted in the form.

This is what I have right now:image.png

What I would like to have for the subject is whatever the user entered into DataCardValue3.

How would I adjust my formula?

Thank you!

Sara

Re: Question on using button to launch an email

Hey @slan2018, try this:

Launch("mailto:someone@email.com?subject=" & DataCardValue3.Text)

Now for the caveats. While I was able to get this to work in test, any spaces were decoded as a "+". I tried to substitute a %20 for each space but it still showed up as a "+". I was able to substitute "_" which made it a little more readable. Here is the code for that:

Launch("mailto:someone@email.com?subject=" & Subsititute(DataCardValue3.Text, " ", "_"))

I tested this on my iPhone and Windows 10 computer, for reference. Feel free to comment back if I can try and help further!
