My organization will be doing a O365 migration to a new O365 environment, and my SharePoint site will be migrated as well.
The background is that I have some Lists in a SharePoint site and the list forms UI are customized using PowerApps.
In Site Settings > Storage Metrics, I see that in the List folder, there is a folder called _PowerAppsCache. << What is the usage of this folder?
In this case, will my PowerApps customized forms available after migration??
Since I am afraid that after the migration, all my customized PowerApps forms are gone, and all the list forms UI will be reverted to the default ones provided by SharePoint.
Hi@_jason,
Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to migrate PowerApps customized forms across environments?
Actually, you cannot move your form to another list or environment. We do not have this functionality right now. We cannot support migrating custom forms from one site to another or export/import via templates.
For more detail, please check the doc here.
Here is an existing idea you can vote for:
Move or Copy a SharePoint list PowerApps Custom Form
As an alternative, solution, you could consider
You could export the custom form with all versions clicking the ‘Export Package (preview)’ tab and save it as a zip file. Then unzip it and navigate to the “Microsoft.PowerApps\apps\” and open ‘.json’ file, here you should do some JSON work like changing list, list GUID and site name to target details. And then save and zip it again. Finally, import package on your target environment.
Here is a detailed solution from the blog by @SPRohit, please check if it could help.
