Quick view form not showing record of parent's parent table

Hi everyone,

I am new here and thanks for all the helpful posts I have read to learn.

I have a hierarchy of tables like this:

  1. Invoice Table has lookup to Contract Table
  2. Contract Table has lookup to Project Table
  3. Project Table has lookup to Client Table

On my Invoice Table form, I have a quick view component that shows some key relevant information from Contract Table (1 level above). Once I select a Contract it will auto-show this quick view, with the relevant info.

However, I also have manually added a N:1 relationship (many Invoice to one Project) on the Invoice Table, so as I can also add a quick view component for key relevant information from the Project Table (2 level above).

Manually adding this N:1 relationship has allowed me to create the quick view component I want from Project Table, but it does not show the information on the Invoice form, as it does with the information from the Contract Table.

I hope I have explained this well enough. Please let me know if it is confusing.

Many thanks for any help.
