Radio button is reset in nested gallery when you use On Select (Bug?)

Hello,

I've run into what seems like a bug. Radio button is reset when inside a nested gallery.

I have two gallerys:

- Gallery A: Items: Distinct(col;Header)

- Gallery B (nested): Items: Filter(col;Header=ThisItem.Result)

Inside Gallery B I have a radio button:

If On Select on radio button is empty, it works.

But if I use UpdateIf in On Select Radio Button, Radio Button is reset sometimes in all items!

Help!

This has been a bug for a long time.  Radio controls in Galleries are generally troublesome.

It has to do with using the OnSelect action of the control and what you do in that.

I would only try to consider changing your design to not utilize the OnSelect.  Chances are you don't need it anyway.  But if you have a specific formula in there that changes ANYTHING about the underlying datasource, then you will get this behavior.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Thanks a lot @RandyHayes

To solve the problem I have decided:
 1) Radio Button DisplayMode: View. To block the radio button
 2) Create transparent Button in front of each option
 3) On Select Button: Update the datasource (in this case a collection)

 4) Default Radio Button: Retrieve the value from the datasource (in this case a collection, in a gallery I will use ThisItem.ValueToRetrieve

According to my tests, it works.

What do you think @RandyHayes ?

Thanks!!!
