Realtime data refresh from sharepoint to power apps datatable

In my app,i have given users a datable and it shows filtered items as desired by users (given fiter options in several buttons) and when an user actually selects a record and approves(click on approval button) in background the record is getting updated but the same is not reflected in the datatable ,instead to check wheather update is applied or not,user has to refresh the complete application,then only it shows the data

Currently i have set my data table items to "approvalitems2" collection and based on the button selection by user i am updating "approvalitems2" collection and displaying the user and on the approve button ,after update condition i have given clearcollect to clear the "approvalitems2" collection and to take only pending for approval items,but still it is showing me old data.

please help.

Re: Realtime data refresh from sharepoint to power apps datatable

Hi @vish_p,

How do you create the "approvalitems2" collection within your app? Could you please share a bit more about the formula?

Do you want to refresh your Data Table data in real time when there are some changes on your SP list?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the Timer control could achieve your needs. I assume that you populate your  "approvalitems2" collection via the following formula:

ClearCollect(
approvalitems2,
Filter(
'YourSPList',
FilterCondition1,
FilterCondition2,
...
)
)

As an alternative solution, you could take a try with the following workaround:

Add a Timer control within your app, set the Duration property to following:

1000

set the AutoStart property and Repeat property to following:

true

set the OnTimerEnd property to following:

Refresh('YourSPList')

Or

Refresh('YourSPList');
ClearCollect( /* <-- Re-populate the approvalitems2 collection */ approvalitems2, Filter( 'YourSPList', FilterCondition1, FilterCondition2, ... ) )

set the Visible property of the Timer control to following:

false /* <-- Hide the Timer control */

please take a try with above solution I provided, check if the issue is solved.
