Recommendations? My company can’t afford premium licenses

I will explain a little the context of my company. we are a chain of convenience stores with more than 100 stores throughout the country. A minimum of 5 people work in each store. Since the company was founded in 2012 until today, the check-in and check-out times have only been kept handwritten. My company acquired an Office 365 E3 license (which has Power Apps), therefore I created an app capable of scanning a QR code that is integrated into the identification cards, which allows obtaining the time of entry and exit. The information of more than 500 employees wanted to store it in MS SQL server tables, but for this I need an additional per user or per app license and my company would never approve the acquisition of more than 100 extra licenses apart from the ones they are already paying for.

So what do you recommend to store the information? it has to be a standard connector. I have read about the sharepoint lists but I don't know if they would have the capacity to store at least 1,200 records every 24 hours.

Thanks in advance

@dilanvargas

If you want to avoid the premium license, you will need to look at using SharePoint.  It will accommodate your needs and you will not need to pay additional for it.

I hope this is helpful for you.
