Record type property in component not handled properly

Hello,

I have made a component on canvas app (not PCF), with record type input custom property.

(e.g. Component.ColorValue : {colR:100, colG:120, colB:200})

When editing component, Power Apps can handle each field of input record as expected, however, when I put the component to screen and update its input property (ColorValue in my case), Power Apps could not recognize each input properly.

In my case, input colR value mapped as colB in component, input colB mapped as colR. (seems to be alphabetic ordering...)

Did I miss anything or is there any restriction for such custom property??

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Bringing the convo from Twitter here in case it happens to anyone else 🙂

Check the box "Raise OnReset When Value Changes" and it should resolve the issue. I noticed when it's not checked and you edit the values, it can cause an error refreshing the values properly. Not 100% sure if thats how it's meant to work, but it solved my issue!

Thanks @yshariff for a comment!

For my case, it works fine 🙂 and I have found that mapping between properties in component and one in screen will appear in advanced setting when I checked "Raise OnReset..".

I hope PowerApps team will fix this issue or clarify cause of this.

Thanks again @yshariff !
