Recording timings

I'm trying to log how long various operations take for users to complete.

I looked at using a collection with timers but as far as I'm aware, the timers will stop / reset if app is turned off - which will happen.

I just need start time, and end time - i can do this and use datediff to get a time.

I need to be able to capture and record (potentially multiple) pauses / breaks though so i can subtract this amount from the original datediff.

I just can't figure out a way of doing this, , I keep getting lost in the setup, I don't mind writing the data to a SP list to temporarily store values if needed.

Does anyone have any working examples / ideas they could share please?

Thanks all.

Hi @WarrenBelz , apologies for not replying, I took a few days holiday last week so I'm just catching up on everything, will look into your suggestion later today and will let you know how I get on, thanks.
