Refresh Button is not Updating DataTables pulling from SPO List - Only Managed Connections can be refreshed.

I have a screen that has two data tables.

They are pulling from the same source, I am just sorting each table based on engineers.

I want the tables to refresh onvisible AND when I click the refresh button.

I have tried Refresh([DataTableOnline])

I have also tried Refresh([Engineers]) where Engineers is the actual SPO List.

I only get the one error each time.

Only managed connections can be refreshed.

Engineers is one of my datasources, so I am not understanding this error.

Could someone explain to me this error, and how do I get the data to refresh when the screen comes up, and when you click the refresh button?

I am not sure what the difference is, but I found if I did this:

Refresh(engineers)

vs

Refresh([Engineers])

it works.  I am not sure what removing the [ ] does.
