Remove blank entries from dropdown list

Hello,

I have created a dropdown list, the items are getting fetched from columns of a SharePoint list.

This is the SP list I am using.

List.JPG

I have a dropdown which is fetching the values of the columns:

In "Items" property I have used the below formula:

If(Find("Meeting Room",Label21_9.Text)=1,Filter(IssuesMasterData,!IsBlank(MeetingRoom)),Filter(IssuesMasterData,!IsBlank(Cafeteria)))

But the blank spaces are still not getting filtered out.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

@Soumodip

Please put the formula back in that I provided and then make sure you have the "Value" property of your dropdown control (found in the properties pane on the right of the design screen) set to "Room".

See if that resolves what you need.

@Soumodip

Please consider the following change to your Items property formula:

Filter(
    AddColumns(
        IssuesMasterData,
        "Room", If("Meeting Room" in Label21_9.Text, MeetingRoom, Cafeteria)
    ),
    !IsBlank(Room)
)

You can't switch the column type around on a dropdown like you are trying, so the IsBlank filter formula you had would not be effective.

With the above formula, set your Dropdown to display the Room field and you should have the results that you want.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Thanks @RandyHayes . But the solution does not work as expected now, I am getting the same values in the dropdown list irrespective of the value in:

Label21_9.Text

This is the result:

dd.pngdd2.png

The expectation is that the values in the dropdown should change based on the value of the label.

But if I use "Distinct", I'm getting the blank values.
