Replacing an InfoPath Form WebPart with a PowerApp

Alhough PowerApps are targetting the mobile experience,  I am looking at replacing some InfoPath forms running in a  browser (ie9+) running on the desktops of various users. Is there any guidance around this .

Hi @westerdaled! Welcome to the forum.

Right now PowerApps are indeed optimized mainly for mobile, but you can run any app in a web browser as a standalone tab. Apps that are build in "tablet" layout are really just "landscape" or wider-screen format, and can be built to look and function like web apps -- going that route is your best bet right now. Over time, you'll see us roll out more features that optimize specifically for the web and the kinds of scenarios you're working with, and we'd love to hear what you think on that front on the ideas board here.

Also,we recently made some announcements about what the future looks like for PowerApps and SharePoint -- this blog post is a good starting point and links to some other resources and demos about what's coming next on that front.

Having the same issues.

Will it be possible to select a Forms library as a datasource in order to create new powerapps based upon that data (once from infopath).

Or will be able to migrate infopath forms to powerapps?

Lists edited with Infopath we can now connect to with Powerapps and recreate them. Same question here is migrating those forms instead of recreating.

If we need to recreate all those forms can we easyly track in SP which lists are edited by Infopath and will MS gives us a migration period in order to migrate all those infopath forms to Powerapps.

Some functions in infopath are not yet availeble in powerapps, for ex. calculation between dates, filtering lists based upon input of other fields (in infopath we had rules to do that) etc...

Keep us informed please.
