Request limit for Database is 30? Azure SQL

I have an app that has been working and seems to have suddenly stopped working. I am getting this error:

Request Limit.png

I am not sure if this is SQL issue or PowerApps issue?

That is an Azure SQL error. I believe it is a limitation of the "Basic" pricing tier the database is using.

Re: Request limit for Database is 30? Azure SQL

Hi @BrianHFASPS ,

@Jeff_Thorpeis right beacause basic tier has a limit of 30 concurrent workers and a limit of 30 concurrent logins. Those limits are extended to 60 if you choose Standard S0 to S3, and if you choose S4 the limit is extended to 400. S6 has a 800 limit.

To better deal with these limits, please read the following article:

Thanks,

Re: Request limit for Database is 30? Azure SQL

Hi @BrianHFASPS ,

Which service tier of Azure SQL do you purchase for your current sign in account?

Based on the error message that you mentioned, I think this issue is related to your Azure SQL itself rather than PowerApps.

Accordind to the error message, I suppose that you purchase a Basic tier of Azure SQL Server for your current account, is it true?

There is a limit with Basic tier of Azure SQL Server, the maximum Concurrent Requests is 30. Please check the following blog for more details:

https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/latam/2015/06/01/how-to-deal-with-the-limits-of-azure-sql-databa...

You could consider purchase other service tier of Azure SQL Server for your account to get more Concurrent Requests.

In addition, please also consider remove all SQL Server connections from your PowerApps Connection List, then re-create a new one, then try it within your app, check if the issue is solved.
